History

Maison Perard
in Le Touquet since 1964

The story begins during the Second World War, when Serge PERARD had the idea of picking up a few pieces of fish from the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
A fine cook, he concocted a nourishing fish soup...

In 1964, he opened the first 100% Seafood Restaurant in Le Touquet, and after improving his Fish Soup recipe, in particular by adding pure Saffron, he added it on the menu, and the success was immediate.

Faced with an increasingly strong demand from customers who demanded to be able to take the product to consume it at home, he decided to create a cannery. Thus was born the workshop which allowed Mr Perard and his team to make his recipes there. The story was on...

On a daily basis, Anne-Sophie and her team work with passion to pursue this beautiful history in order to introduce as many people as possible to the quality of our products.
